Niv Studios is a video production house based out of Neb Sarai, New Delhi (near IGNOU) consisting of state-of-the-art studios and a wide range of multi-purpose and cost-efficient amenities catering to pre-production, production, and post-production shoots.
Niv has three acoustically-treated video studios with costume & make up rooms, two video editing studios and a dubbing studio; a convertible art gallery and similar adaptable spaces; an open-air rooftop-theatre with a capacity of 150 pax for premieres, launches and other events; business centres for production offices and workstations for short-term projects; warm and welcoming guest rooms and dorms with elegant interiors for photo shoots as well as accommodation; and an open-air rooftop café – all under one roof. We have competent professionals in-house who can take care of all your needs and production contingencies.
We also specialise in line production services, location scouting, casting and facilitation of local technical talent and also assist you with shooting clearances, licenses and film subsidies in Delhi and neighbouring states.
The studios and other multipurpose interiors at Niv can be adapted for a broad sweep of formats including (but not limited to) ad films, feature films, web shows, portfolio shoots, product shoots, apparel shoots, boutique shoots, garment shoots, jewellery shoots, wedding shoots, modelling, auditions, workshops, news debates, podcasts, dubbing and recordings, audiobook recordings, talk shows and interviews.

Shaji Mathew
Shaji Mathew launched Niv Studios in 2023 to provide an enabling environment for filmmakers, artists, advertisers and brands looking for a one-stop and cost-efficient solution for pre-production, production and post-production work. By integrating a broad range of multi-purpose amenities and services alongside the studios, the complex has made a name for itself as a one-of-a-kind studio. He is also the founder of Niv Productions, and has produced several award-winning feature films and documentaries under its banner, including Whispers of Fire and Water (upcoming), Mement (2022), Kopfkino (2022), Kayattam (2020), Aahuti (2020), Nani (2019), Chola (2019), Nila: a river of sere sands (2018); Unmadiyude Maranam (2018), Eli Eli Lama Sabachthani (2017), S Durga (2017), Ozhivudivasathe Kali (2015), and Oraalppokkam (2014). His films have toured major international festivals such as Venice, Rotterdam, Guanojuato, Pesaro, Busan, IFFI, IFFK, MAMI, Yerevan, New York Indian Film Festival, etc., picking up many national and international awards. Niv Art Centre and Niv Art Gallery that he co-founded with his wife Aruna Anand Mathew in 2008 is housed in the studio complex and has had a significant impact on New Delhi’s cultural calendar in general and art education in particular. Over the years, it has supported 21 art residencies and organised hundreds of events spanning music, dance, theatre, talks, workshops and art exhibitions.
Devanand Nair
Devanand Nair is a well-known Line Producer working in the film and television industry for the last 35 years. He has been an Executive Producer, Line Producer and Associate Producer to more than 150 feature films in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi and English and has also overseen the production of more than 200 ad films and documentaries. He is credited with introducing various lesser-known locations in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to South Indian Cinema. As the first Operations Manager of Eagle Films Studios, he set up the first state-of-the-art studio complex at Noida Film City. His subsequent stint with T-Series as Operations Manager saw the launch of Lakshmi Studios. He is also involved with multiple international film festivals held in India and abroad and was the Chief Coordinator of the first India-UK Film Festival held in London in 2008.
